To give you a concrete impression of what I can do for you, you need to know what I have done for other companies.
My international experience includes projects in Scandinavia, Great Britain, the USA and Germany as well as managing international teams, some of them interdisciplinary, for example in India, Vietnam and the USA.
Below you'll find a (small) sample of projects that I have successfully delivered:
Solution Design | Agile Project Delivery
The bank reacted too slowly on legal requests to present relevant data in eDiscovery court cases. The client was able to answer the question 'who knew what, when' when the MVP was delivered.
My team and I re-designed business processes, data flows, conceptualised-, designed and supervised (as PO) the MVP delivery (using SCRUM).
The organisation could not meet their clients' demand for customized applications.
I defined defined appropriate tasks to be off-shored, formalised processes and governance, and on-boarded, trained and managed two developers from Sri Lanka on site in Oslo. Having regular meetings with account managers and clients enabled us to define client-specific services that could be rapidly deployed.
This resulted in improved speed of delivery of custom solutions to clients as well as cost-savings and higher flexibility.
Marketing | Agile Project Delivery
Client had unsuccessfully tried to configure and install a new campaign management tool.
The project was delivered as agreed – on-time, 20% below budget and with agreed functionality.
Savings were re-invested in dialogue marketing activities.
Solution Design | Agile Project Delivery
A monolithic application was providing the functionality to manage all customer service interactions for B2B customers. The complexity had gotten un-manageable and the client needed help to re-design the solution and enable new functionality to be delivered more rapidly.
Together with the Scrum master of the development team, we developed a product vision, and described the MVP in epics and user stories.
eCommerce | Process Improvement | Solution Design
The B2B procurement using the client eCommerce solution caused a lot of manual efforts (orders were received by e-mail and pasted manually into SAP and the web-shop software).
I analysed the value chain, re-designed the data flow and specified the required changes to internal applications as well as to the ARIBA procurement platform.
Marketing | Digital Transformation
The global advertising organisation of the client had grown organically. The increasing complexity of marketing, branding and advertising over the last years had lead to an organisation that did not meet it's ambitions on reaching its target consumers.
We were brought in to apply our understanding of digital marketing and operating models to the existing organisation. We delivered a design for the operating model that was presented by the clients top brand- and advertising managers as a proposal for the next steps in the direction of operating more agile in the marketing place.
Procurement of complex solutions
The original evaluation process had gone wrong. We needed to create a level-playing field and enable a fair evaluation of proposals and suppliers. This was finalised in four (!) weeks.
We came up with a pragmatic-, yet comprehensive, way to compare the existing proposals through specifying the requirements and conducting vendor meetings and due-diligence.
We were able to evaluate the contenders and their proposals in a fair and professional way and to produce a recommendation on the vendors of Operational- and Business Support Solutions and the system integrator to carry out the work.
I was part of the team presenting the project results to Prince Saud in London.
Marketing | Sales | Procurement of complex solutions
Define the capabilities required by marketing, sales and customer service to build a green-field operator to serve the world-wide 400 largest enterprise customers.
Recommend the system-integrator to use and solutions to implement.
